LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Since its inception Blue Wigwam has aimed to rethink the ways in which external works and landscape schemes are designed and implemented at all levels, bringing new thinking and approaches to biodiversity enhancements and community engagement.
BIODIVERSITY NET GAIN BNG HABITAT CREATION
At Blue Wigwam Nature is our partner client. We are adept at combining science and experience to successfully establish habitats. Our ecological knowledge and landscaping skills result in great outcomes for all our projects. That helps slow the rate of environmental degradation in the UK.
SITE CLEARANCE
We have provided site clearance on some of the North of England's largest infrastructure projects. We have access to a fleet of the most up to date specialist machinery designed specifically for site clearance. Our teams of gangs will make light work of even the trickiest of jobs.
FENCING
Our fencing gangs are skilled at erecting a wide verity of fence types and styles from badger & newt fencing to picket and prison grade. We pride ourselves on precision and quality. A badly erected fence can ruin the aesthetics of a finished landscape.
INVASIVE WEED CONTROL
Invasive weed control is a nationwide problem. Blue Wigwam use the most up to date scientific techniques and have a very impressive track record of controlling and removing invasive weeds from any site.
HABITAT CREATION
ECOLOGY
Ecology is at the heart of our business and we aim to incorporate ecological gains into every project we work on. We have a number of ecologists on our books and our biggest ecological project to date is currently underway with surveying for HS2 ongoing.
ARBORICULTURE
Our highly trained arboricultural operatives are all AA certified. And, we have a fleet of specialist machinery designed for rapid site clearance. All our operatives are ecologically conscious and always work within protected species requirements.
GROUND MAINTENANCE
We have over 20 years landscaping experience, there are not many landscaping activities we haven’t done, and there is nothing we can’t do! Our dedicated team provide a variety of ongoing grounds maintenance on a wide variety of sites from solar farms to quarries.
LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION
Our highly trained and dedicated operatives backed by our passionate management team are always determined to deliver fantastic results. We have over 20 years landscaping experience, there are not many landscaping activities we haven’t done, and there is nothing we can’t do!
ABOUT
Our team at Blue Wigwam have spent the last fifteen years promoting the sustainability, ecological and social benefits of green space when designing and implementing external works projects. Long before the term “sustainability” became fashionable we were thinking about how the schemes we were working on could be improved to reduce the material and carbon footprint. We incorporate habitat creation and promote community usage in many of our projects. We have over 20 years experience in hard and soft landscaping, with projects ranging from sensory paths at an NHS clinic in Crewe to quarry restoration works in Kent. Our unique pool of knowledge, in landscape architecture, construction and ecology result in harmonious solutions to external works projects and ultimately results in high quality end products.
